BlackSunrise started up in the summer of
2002. Back then the band had only 4 elements: J.Pedro - drums; Xuckie - guitar; J.Padinha
- guitar; João Gazua - vocals. It was with this formation that the first demo was released , \"Born in the Cradle of Death\", with 5 songs. This was our turning point.. People were starting to know our name and we finally understood we had a new purpose in life.
Later that year, Xuckie and João Gazua left the band due to some personal
reasons, so it was time to sit down and talk about the consequences and find out a way to keep going. We met two guys who really digged the band and we knew all along that they were part of our future. So they were invited to take part in \"Blacksunrise\": Samuel (bass) and Paulo (vocals).
Here, at this time, things started to happen for us. New songs were made, a more agressive sound.. well, let\'s just say we were heading the right way. After a while, Carlos (guitar) joined us and we were finally ready to war!
With this line-up (J.Padinha - guitar; J.Pedro - drums; Samuel - bass; Paulo - vocals; Carlos - guitar), we recorded eight new songs.
Our expectations are high and we know we\'ve done a good job so far but this is only the beggining . .. the sky is the limit.
